
Martin Girardi is a shooting researcher from Oregon. He holds a dual BA in evolutionary biology and studio art from the University of Chicago, where his bachelor’s exhibition received the Louis Sudler Prize. His current practice aims to investigate the nexuses of humanity and its environment and to document the vestiges of frontier as both an ecological and cultural design. He’s just graduated with Distinction from the master’s programme in wildlife filmmaking at the University of the West of England, affiliated with the BBC Studios Natural History Unit.
